Real time availability is located on our online booking program. If you do not see availability for your selected time, call our office to see if we have more horses available, we reserve extra horses daily because sometimes, horses may be out of the line up. Online bookings close 24Hrs before requested ride time on standard rides and 48Hrs on specialty rides. We hope to hear from you!
Duration 1 hour. This ride is excellent for all levels of riders from 6 to ?? Enjoy a meander through the trees with views of mountain scapes and Shaver Lake. Keep your eyes open for our local Osprey pair and Deer.
Duration 2 hours. This ride is great for all levels of riders. Walk the trail past Camp Edison and through the back side of the Museum of the Central Sierra. You may experience seeing the Coyote family and Deer along this part of the trail that goes along the outskirts of Shaver Lake, through the meadows of the cove. Tall green ferns tempt your equine friend. Dorabelle Cove is the halfway point on this fun adventure.
Our evening ride is a special time to enjoy Shaver Lake. With the sun going down and the calm water of Shaver Lake, set out with your party to enjoy a very special time. It is a time of day where you may encounter forest critters along the trail. This ride requires a minimum of 4 people and is by appointment only. The ride must be booked 48 hours in advance. By appointment only, ride from 1 - 3 hours and explore beautiful Shaver Lake on horseback and cover ground you may have not seen before. Experience required to trot and or lope your horse. This is done at the guides discretion.
105.00 per hour / per person.

We are happy to ride with you and for your enjoyment as well as the safety of our wranglers and horses, please read and understand these requirements.
Please know where we are located before booking your adventure with us. We are just a phone call or email away.
Reservations require payment in full at time of booking. NO REFUNDS! Cancellations will be addressed at the owners discretion and will be handled based on the incident ~ rescheduling requests must be received 24hrs. before scheduled ride time.
Arrive 30 minutes prior to ride time ~
Close toed shoes a must and long pants recommended ~
6 years or older to ride the trail and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian NO EXCEPTIONS~
No double riding ~
Riding Alone ~ Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, no exceptions. Our guides are not child care, should your child have any problems along the way, a parent/guardian must be on the ride with them to assist.
13 and under are required to wear helmets, we have them or bring your own horse specific riding helmet ~
Selfie sticks and unmounted go pros are not allowed ~
If there are special needs, we need to know when you book your ride so please give us a call and let us know~
In most cases, it is required that you be able to mount from the ground with little or no assistance. This is in case of emergency, we use mounting blocks for loading but you must dismount off your horse without a block, guides will assist you~
****Mistreatment of horse and not listening to guides will result in termination of your ride and you will be walking back to the station and forfeiting your rate.****
Maximum weight a person can ride is 230 lbs. No exceptions, guides have the right to refuse service. Horseback riding is an athletic sport and takes some form of fitness and balance to ride a horse that is a 1000 to 1200 pound LIVE ANIMAL. Please respect this policy and be honest upon booking. Our Lead Guide and Wranglers will make determinations at times whether someone is fit to ride or not. We are sorry and not trying to offend anyone however, our horses deserve our ability to act on their behalf and we must look out for YOUR safety and theirs! Thank you!

Located just 1/2 mile past the Camp Edison entrance.
From Fresno/Clovis take HWY 168 East to Shaver Lake/Huntington Lake. When you get to Shaver Lake we are about 2.5 miles East of town on the right side of the road. We have a sign and a large parking lot with horse trailers in it. Park and walk in.
Please allow enough time to get here 1/2 hr before ride time.
